Doug Handel's Minox Stuff
"Europe 1966 on 1 roll of slide film."

I was surprised that these slides didn't fade more than they did considering they are about 33 years old.
These were all taken with the first Minox B I owned, using the camera's built-in light meter.

This was taken from my hotel window in Venice. Thanks to, Antonio Rossetto, a fellow Minox collector in Italy, I now know the name of the cathedral shown in the center, it is the Chiesa Della Salute.

Both the above (Venice with the Chiesa Di San Simeone Piccolo in the center) and especially below (Lucerne) photos remind me how easy it is to always have a Minox with you.

The stairway , is inside the Dogi's Palace in Venice and it's named Scala dei Giganti , again the correct name came from Antonio Rossetto.
The vertical shot from the roof-top restaurant of our hotel in Florence was taken just before I was "asked" to get off the roof ledge. I was probably "brave" (read that as "stupid"), because I had a glass or two of wine already. Remember in 1966 I was just a student, brains were not required.
You're not "supposed" to take any photographs inside the Sistine Chapel In Rome, (above),
but then.... I did have my Minox B.
I realize it's almost a no-brainer to take "pretty" pictures of beautiful centuries-old cities, but you have to have your camera available. And it has to work each time. That combination was hard to find in 1966, and virtually unheard of in 1938 when the first Minox (Riga) was introduced.
